Rules of the practice ground

Terms of Use

Short and tidy, like a well-replaced divot.

Last updated: October 8, 2026

Every club has its rules, and these are mine. I've kept them brief so you can get back to your irons.

On one card

Run by

Who runs Oliver Hughes Golf?

Oliver Hughes Golf: this site, the books and the membership. Reach me at [email protected].

Your books

What am I allowed to do with a book I buy?

Books are PDF downloads. Nothing is posted. Buy one, or the set of three.

Hotmart emails the link. Your books are always at consumer.hotmart.com; sign in with the email you bought with.

Your licence is a personal one: read it, print it for yourself. Please don't share, resell, upload or copy it for anyone else.

Paying

Who actually takes the payment?

The secure checkout is run by Hotmart, a payment platform. It processes the payment and is the seller of record at checkout.

Pay by card, PayPal or Apple Pay. You pay the price shown at checkout. Hotmart's own terms and privacy policy apply.

Members

How is the membership billed, and how do I leave?

Letters by email: one English drill a week for crisp irons, and more. Reply with questions whenever you like.

7 days free, then billed monthly until you cancel.

You cancel at consumer.hotmart.com: membership, then payment settings, then cancel subscription. Or drop me a line and I'll help. Cancelling doesn't refund earlier months.

Fitness

Is it safe for me to practise?

Golf is exercise. See your doctor before starting anything new, and stop if something hurts.

This is general golf coaching, not medical advice.

Outcomes

Will my irons definitely improve?

Results vary from one golfer to the next. I can't promise yards or scores.

Illustrations

Are the pictures of Oliver photographs?

The images of me on this site are illustrations.

Copyright

Can I pass the books along to a friend?

I'm afraid not. Everything here belongs to Oliver Hughes Golf: books, letters, text and pictures. It's for your personal use only.

Our limits

How far does your responsibility go?

As far as the law allows, I'm not liable for indirect losses. My total responsibility is limited to the amount you paid.

None of this removes your legal rights as a consumer.

Updates

Might these terms change?

They might. I'd update this page and its date.

Get in touch
